It was a delightful introduction to Kerala through Aminesh’s expert organisation and care. It was very helpful and reassuring to have him alongside the painting party to arrange things as needed, as we travelled. Spending time in four different locations was a joy, which gave a real flavour of Kerala – so many sights, sounds and vistas – a real treat. Meeting some local people was especially precious, like the boatman and his family (& the lunch we had with them was a wonderful occasion). Our driver, Krishna was an expert and he too was very helpful and kind. Once we were in India, it was a well organised and happy holiday. In the months preceding travel, once the booking had been accepted, it would have been useful and reassuring to have some follow-up information, as it felt a long period of ‘not knowing’ . Also, as the form for visa application is not very easy to follow, as some of the Indian translation is confusing, it would have been helpful to have earlier and more direct help – or even have the applications submitted by the company, once they have the relevant information. We stayed in very diverse and interesting hotels. The final one in Cochin was a real treat! Thank you to Threka and especially to Aminesh for a memorable time in Kerala.
